ah so nice to be slacking away... reading good fiction books borrowed from the library all day long (esp stephen king nyahaha)... learning a hell lot of stuff like cooking (on insistence of my mum) and driving.... and of course mahjong. yes we bought a medium sized mahjong set at chinatown for $18 after much haggling and have been playing ever since.
speaking of driving... first lesson was last wednesday... was almost scared to death at first when the instructor asked me to get into the drivers seat and drive on the roads immediately... but i survived the first lesson... interestingly the passenger seat alos has a brake... haha guess the instructor put it there as extra insurance... just in case i cant stop the car in time... haha. car stalled a few times on the road.. i got honked at... and nearly went onto the kerb a few times while turning left. miracle i survived. anyways was supposed to have lesson yesterday... but unfortunately my instructor (he's quite old by the looks of it) fell down and got admitted to hospital... brilliant. shall not comment on his demise haha. ok evil for me to laugh. >.<
chinese new years coming!!! so exciting because it means $$!!! i'm so $$ minded. hoho.
and off the whole point, i miss everyone. doesn't help that i have no access to communication devices except for the internet. thank the powers that be for this great invention.
